🤖What is a node?

Think of a node as a computer that keeps a record of all transactions on a blockchain and runs special software to manage it. Each blockchain network is made up of many of these nodes, which connect directly to each other.

When you want to make a transaction, like sending cryptocurrency to someone, your request gets sent out to all these nodes. They work together to make sure your transaction is valid and should be added to the blockchain. This process happens very quickly.

When we talk about "confirmations," we mean that your transaction has been checked multiple times by different nodes and has been added to a block of transactions that's been verified. Once a block is confirmed, it gets shared with all the nodes, and everyone agrees on the current state of the blockchain.
